Sr Staff Engineer, AI and Advanced Analytics

We are seeking a hands-on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine learning (ML) and Advanced Analytics Leader to design, build, and reputed company cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that accelerate PAPDs mission. The Senior Staff Engineer combines deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and team mentorship. A Typical Day in the Role May Involve Aspects Of: AI/ML & GenAI Development

• Design and reputed company end-to-end AI/ML and reputed company solutions, including LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and multimodal Agentic AI systems.
• Contribute hands-on to prototyping, experimentation, model development, and production deployment.
• Evaluate emerging GenAI tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns, recommending their adoption where appropriate.

Deliver Data Science Solutions

• Build and reputed company advanced data science models for diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive use cases supporting PAPD scientific and operational workflows.
• Apply statistical modeling, multivariate analysis, machine learning, time-series forecasting, feature engineering, and optimization methods to solve reputed company scientific and process challenges.
• Collaborate with process scientists to design experiments, analyze process data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Promote rigorous scientific methodology and strong statistical foundations across modeling efforts.

Architecture & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with IT, Data Engineering, Other teams and departments, PAPD scientists, and analytics teams to define solution architectures and integrate models into reputed company workflows.
• Translate scientific and operational challenges into scalable AI/ML solutions with clear business value.
• Influence PAPDs digitalization roadmap and contribute to long-term AI strategy.
• Establish and champion best practices for model development, validation, MLOps, and responsible AI.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and AI engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 6+ years OR Masters with 10+ years in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, or reputed company discipline.
• Handson experience building and deploying ML and GenAI models (e.g., deep learning, NLP, LLMs, RAG, multimodal models).
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML/GenAI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, reputed company, reputed company, vector databases).
• Experience deploying solutions on reputed company analytics platforms (reputed company/reputed company/Azure/AWS).
• Proven ability to communicate reputed company technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
