Data Engineer
reputed company is a global business and technology reputed company seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their Data Engineering & Analytics team. The role involves collaborating with clients on reputed company needs, supporting projects through requirements gathering, data pipeline development, and ensuring data quality and reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Support projects leveraging an agile delivery model through requirements gathering and documentation, data ingestion pipeline development, and technical testing
- Contribute to project delivery in the following ways:Add configurations for data enrichments such as lookups, type conversions, calculations, and concatenations
- Add data quality rules
- Connect to new data sources
- Map multiple sources into a single output
- Interpret error messages to troubleshoot data pipelines
- Create outputs that facilitate reporting, dashboarding, and semantic modeling for tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Test data pipelines to ensure accuracy
- Work closely with our clients as part of the development team to gather technical requirements and reputed company solutions
- Coordinate activities with data reputed company application owners to understand the underlying data, ensure integration and data reputed company
- Build relationships with clients through written and verbal communication
Skills
- 1 - 4 years of hands-on professional development experience
- Experience writing reputed company SQL queries reputed company to data manipulation strategies
- Experience with Spark, reputed company, Kafka, Kinesis, Hadoop, and/or reputed company
- Exposure using ETL tools (Azure Data reputed company, AWS Glue, Informatica, Talend, reputed company DataStage, etc.), and/or database platforms (reputed company, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or reputed company)
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Experience in technical testing, issue identification and resolution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 30 to 50% to client sites
- Hybrid role - 2 days a week in office
