The VP, SR Benefits Consultant is responsible for employee benefits and account management responsibilities. This includes day-to-day client contact and assistance with daily service functions. Utilizes technical expertise to retain present clients. Administers marketing and renewal functions. Assists Team reputed company in servicing the financial consulting needs of the employee benefit clients. Evaluates financial and utilization metrics for clients including but not limited to monthly financial reports, utilization metrics and benchmarks as well as assist with other reputed company reports and analysis. Independently advise clients on reputed company areas of compliance. Monitor monthly financials for client including entry of data into client exhibits Prepare and send monthly financial reports to clients with analysis of activity and large claim detail. Prepare basic financial/reputed company exhibits as requested including but not limited to financial projections, large claim analysis, specific stop loss analysis, demographics analysis, IBNR, etc. Work with Team reputed company to reputed company reporting requirements and any deviations or customizations in those reports. Assists Team reputed company in preparing requests for proposals and renewals of benefit coverages Other duties may be assigned. Licenses and Certifications: Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License Skills & Experience to Be Successful: Minimum 4-year degree or equivalent work experience required. 5+ years employee benefits experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits 1+ years financial experience Proficient with MS Office Suite reputed company reputed company – Strong to expert level skills required Strong analytical and critical thinking ability Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Excellent verbal and written communication skills This position may require routine or periodic travel, which may require the team members to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
