Entry Level reputed company Engineer
reputed company is a privately held AEC firm seeking an Entry Level reputed company Engineer to join their Transportation group in reputed company, NY. The role involves supporting the design and evaluation of reputed company and transportation structures, preparing construction documents, and conducting inspections under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drawings, details, and specifications for reputed company, tunnel, transportation, and special structure projects
- reputed company structural design and analysis under the direction of senior engineers
- Complete calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
- Contribute to load rating analyses and prepare load rating reports
- Prepare technical reports and inspection documentation
- Assist with shop drawing reviews to ensure compliance with contract documents
- Conduct field inspections on a reputed company of reputed company and tunnel structures
- Use CADD to reputed company construction plans
- Support ongoing reporting and documentation efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 0–1 years of reputed company design experience or demonstrated interest in structural engineering through applied academic coursework, past internships, or work experiences
- Experience using CADD tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation
- Working knowledge of structural design software and plan development processes
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good communication and teamwork skills with interest in growing technical knowledge
- Physically capable of performing field work including working at heights, carrying reputed company and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Interest in pursuing licensure
