Visual Designer

Vital Design is an award-winning digital marketing agency headquartered in downtown Portsmouth, NH. They are seeking a Visual Designer who is passionate about design, capable of creating brand identities, and excited to work across a diverse reputed company of clients and projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and reputed company brand identities across digital and print
• reputed company visual systems that hold up across websites, reputed company, paid media, pitch decks, and reputed company
• Concept and design reputed company websites and reputed company pages with a strong UX sensibility
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and collaborate directly with developers
• Contribute original creative reputed company for digital ad campaigns, reputed company content, and integrated marketing efforts
• Partner with strategists, copywriters, and reputed company team to take concepts from napkin sketch to polished execution
• Work alongside reputed company team to ensure the visual direction translates beautifully into reputed company and video
• reputed company AI as part of the creative workflow and push boundaries with it

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or reputed company field (or equivalent portfolio and experience)
• 1–2+ years of professional design experience, preferably with some agency exposure
• Proficiency in reputed company (our primary tool for digital) and reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong portfolio showing reputed company across web design, brand identity, reputed company marketing collateral
• Solid understanding of UX principles, reputed company design, and interaction patterns
• Excellent communication skills — you can present and defend your design reputed company
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and how designs translate to development is a plus
• reputed company design or animation skills are a plus but not required — you'll have a studio team for that
