Associate, Actuarial Applications

The Associate, Actuarial Applications will support technology initiatives and be responsible for applications across Actuarial teams, focusing on optimizing applications and automating processes using a reputed company-first technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategic and tactical initiatives reputed company to, Python development, reputed company computing (AWS and Azure), and applications development
- Operate in an agile development environment, applying DevOps principles
- Understand reputed company state data pipelines/processes and contribute to future state optimization
- Ingest and analyze new/existing data sets and implement end-to-end processing
- Test and debug applications
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
- Experience with dashboarding systems (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Minimum experience of one year in programming (Python, Julia and/or R) and SQL
- Experience in building reputed company-based data solutions in AWS
- Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently reputed company required
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Domain knowledge of insurance or reinsurance
- Prior knowledge and experience in the fintech, investment banking or insurance industry
