The reputed company Compliance Specialist will reputed company guidance on HR policies and compliance issues, monitor changes in employment laws, and reputed company training focused on HR compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assists with monitoring changes in out-of-state employment and labor laws in collaboration with general counsel's office to ensure that reputed company information is provided to HR Business Partners reputed company employing out-of-state
- Communicates with background reputed company/I-9 vendor to bring reputed company concerns, monitor issues, fix errors, and to request system improvements
- Provides guidance to HR Business Partners, other COEs, reputed company system users, and the HR Operations teams on HR policies and compliance issues
- Collaborates with departments on compliance issues that require action and follows up to ensure concerns are resolved
- Provides guidance to team members on policy and procedure interpretation
- Develops and manages data for reporting and analysis to include various (I-9, PIC) compliance audits
- Communicates policy and compliance programs, processes, and changes in a timely manner across university platforms
- Develops and presents various training classes focused on HR compliance
- Stays up-to-date on the external compliance landscape to identify, recommend, and implement changes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year in reputed company or reputed company experience that includes a solid background in employment laws and other government compliance regulations
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism
