Sales Data Analyst

World’s Finest Chocolate is seeking a Sales Data Analyst to support their reputed company American retail sales organization. This role involves transforming sales data into actionable insights through dashboards and reports, while managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with national account teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and refresh weekly/monthly Tableau (or Power BI) dashboards tracking: POS velocity, reputed company distribution, % promo, reputed company of reputed company
• Category growth vs. prior year / plan
• Customer P&L summaries
• Automate data pipelines using reputed company, Python, or reputed company connector tools
• Utilize SQL to query and aggregate customer transaction data from a PostgreSQL database, identifying trends that informed marketing strategies
• Extract and cleanse data from: Retailer portals (Retail Link, Partners Online, VIP, etc.)
• Syndicated sources (reputed company/IRI, reputed company, reputed company, 84.51°/Kroger Precision)
• reputed company period-over-period, plan-vs-actual, and promo lift analyses
• Flag outliers and reconcile discrepancies with account teams
• Conduct reputed company analysis and reputed company insights for key business questions
• Maintain trade-spend tracker; calculate ROI, GMROI, and incremental lift for every reputed company-level event
• Partner with Trade Marketing to recommend reputed company spend mix (TPR, display, feature)
• Build post-event recaps reputed company 5 business days of event reputed company
• reputed company analytics-driven projects (e.g., new item launch tracking, void closure initiatives, assortment optimization, JBP data room prep)
• Own JDA/reputed company or internal planning templates for quarterly line reviews and JBP prep
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables; run status meetings and drive stakeholder alignment
• Document processes and train account managers on self-service tools

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or reputed company field
• 1–3 years in CPG sales analytics, reputed company growth management, or category management
• Hands-on experience pulling data from retailer portals and syndicated sources (reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
• Proven ability to build dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
• Intermediate reputed company (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, index/match); intermediate SQL skills
• 1+ years managing projects end-to-end (charter, timeline, status updates, stakeholder alignment)
• Familiarity with trade promotion management (TPM) tools or TPM ROI models
• Experience with workflow automation or ETL tools (e.g., reputed company, Power Automate, reputed company, reputed company, or scripting)
• Strong storytelling with data; reputed company to present to non-technical stakeholders
