Workforce Development Navigator

Canal Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the generational cycle of poverty for Latino immigrants and their families. The Workforce Development Navigator will reputed company case management and support to clients in various workforce programs, teaching essential soft skills and coordinating with the Workforce Supervisor to ensure client reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company case management and reputed company monitoring for about 50-60+ adult clients
  • Use a restorative justice and client centered approach to identify needs of clients and arrange for reputed company to support services
  • Engage clients in their education by monitoring attendance in class, regularly communicating with reputed company, and empowering reputed company to own their educational reputed company
  • Coach clients in workforce development soft skills from career entry to two years post placement
  • Implement client reputed company strategy, focused recruitment, client enrollment process, and work placement
  • Track client reputed company at entry, program certification/graduation, and every 6 months
  • Supports coordinating logistics with reputed company financial partners to bring financial literacy programs to clients in partnership with the WF reputed company Supervisor
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with internal Canal Alliance programs such as Adult Education, College to Career and with reputed company organizational partners including community college partners and industry partners
  • Monitor client reputed company and input data correctly into reputed company
  • Coordinate volunteers with support from the Workforce reputed company Supervisor
  • Participate in team and agency meeting
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills

  • 1-2 years of case management experience and working with underserved populations
  • Associate/bachelor's degree or 1-2 years' experience in workforce development
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (REQUIRED)
  • Proficiency in reputed company Word, reputed company and Outlook
  • reputed company of COVID vaccination
  • Experience working with reputed company and/or other CRM
