Linux Systems Administrator
reputed company is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to enhance technology supporting the Navy. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers, developing automation scripts, and ensuring high availability and performance of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers in physical and virtual environments

Skills
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining physical and virtual Linux servers, such as RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu
- Experience developing and maintaining scripts in Bash or Python to automate repetitive tasks, backups, and deployments
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- RHCSA, RHCE, or reputed company Linux+ Certification
- Experience with tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPNs
- Knowledge of implementing reputed company measures, such as SELinux, firewalls, patching, and hardening to protect against threats and ensure compliance
