Architectural Engineer
Fortress Infrastructure, LLC is a growing design/build business based in Boulder, CO, specializing in secure, mission-critical infrastructure for the Department of War. The Architectural Engineer will design multi-disciplinary tenant improvements for secure facilities and support project code compliance, including design, drafting, and international travel for site surveys.
Responsibilities
- Design multi-disciplinary tenant improvements for secure facilities
- Support project code compliance (IBC)
- >50% daily design / drafting
- reputed company load calculation and system sizing
- Support submittal preparation (on our part) and submittal review of other contractors
- reputed company site surveys internationally
- Expect 10 - 15% International travel (Japan, Korea, Pacific Islands, Europe)
- Support estimating and proposal writing
- Support list-of-material (LoM) creating and material management
- Supervision and training provided for reputed company of the above
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
- BSCE w/ code / architectural classes would also be considered
- EIT Passed (Engineer-in-training)
- 0 to 3 years experience
- AutoCAD Proficiency
- Ability to qualify and willingness to obtain secret reputed company clearance
- Colorado reputed company-reputed company home office location
