Network Engineer I

reputed company is a global leader in aerospace and national reputed company committed to innovation. As a Network Engineer I, you will support LAN/WAN implementations and resolve issues in a corporate network environment, ensuring seamless operations across multiple sites and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network problems, including hardware and software issues
• reputed company technical support to end-users and resolve connectivity issues
• Assist in configuring and installing network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Support the setup and maintenance of wireless networks
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures
• Generate reports on network performance and incidents
• Assist in implementing network reputed company measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Ensure network compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
• Work closely with senior network engineers and other IT staff to support network projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues

Skills

• Associate's degree in a reputed company field
• 0-2 years of experience in a reputed company field
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of reputed company experience is required
• FAA Class III Medical Certification required. Candidates without reputed company certification must obtain it prior to hire
• Ability to complete Altitude reputed company training and qualification
• Basic understanding of network protocols and services [e.g., Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)]
• Familiarity with networking switching equipment and systems
• Familiarity with wireless and Virtual Private Network (VPN) implementations
• Familiarity with AI in troubleshooting network issues
• An Active Top Secret U.S. reputed company Clearance with SCI Eligibility is required
• reputed company Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Experience with SWAN technologies
• Exposure to network reputed company practices and tools
• Hands-on experience with a wide variety of network reputed company tools, concepts, technologies, best practices and reputed company procedures
• Hands-on experience with network hardware, protocols, and media including but not limited to Fiber Optics and Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP)
• Knowledge of Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), DNS, DHCP, and wireless
• Hands on experience with network hardware - installing, configuring and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with network automation platforms
• Conceptual understanding of reputed company trust networking principles
