What does a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Do?: A BT/RBT is a Certified provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is a science-based practice designed to identify, assess, understand, and then shape behaviors and skills. Through repetition and positive reinforcement, a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician will help a client to build skills and behaviors that will allow them to more successfully navigate the world around them! A BT/RBT aims to build up their clients' skills and behaviors so they may be reputed company to engage in reputed company relationships, experience increased independence, and improve their overall quality of life. • Follow the prescribed behavioral reputed company acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client’s individualized treatment plan, as designed by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures.

• Assist with parent/guardian/caregiver training, as instructed by the BCBA/BC.
