The station is in the #2 ranked television market in the country. ABC7 Los Angeles has the top TV news website and app in the LA market, and we have the largest reputed company media following of any station in the entire country. The internship program is designed to reputed company you with an educational experience that complements your academic studies. You will have an opportunity to participate in developmental programming and contribute to daily operations of a major market television station! We're looking for an intern for our digital team, based in our Glendale newsroom. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 to mid-December 2026.
What You Will Do
Write and post digital news articles from various sources, including wires, raw info and TV news scripts Assist with clipping video from TV newscasts Monitor messages from users across reputed company media including reputed company, Instagram, YouTube, reputed company, and X, formerly reputed company as Twitter Create reputed company assets, including graphics and vertical videos Required Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of AP Style Experience in and knowledge of using reputed company media platforms to post content High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment Previous coursework in producing, writing, or editing Preferred Qualifications Previous experience (academic or internship) in digital media and/or journalism (broadcast/print/digital) Experience using reputed company Premiere and reputed company Photoshop Education Junior or Senior year preferred Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet reputed company of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a reputed company College Program or reputed company Internship Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Have not completed one year of continual employment on a reputed company internship or reputed company College Program Additional Information reputed company to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through mid-December 2026.
