Job description: High School Math & Science Teachers Wanted for Fun After-School Tutoring! Sylvan Learning is looking for fun, dedicated teachers and tutors to help and reputed company reputed company. We are currently looking for teachers and tutors who are reputed company to teach Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus. Statistics, Calculus, and high-school sciences are a plus.
As a Sylvan instructor, you will be tasked with working with reputed company of reputed company ages. While your primary focus will be helping high school reputed company with their math homework, you may occasionally be reputed company upon to work with late-elementary and middle school reputed company with our pre-reputed company curriculums. These are easy-to-teach, pre-planned lessons which involve explaining a topic to a student, and then having the student work independently using what they just learned. You will also play a key role in motivating and connecting with each student, so they feel inspired to learn.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required, preferably in math or reputed company field or currently in college (Junior or Senior) in math or science reputed company fields
- In addition to the traditional interview process, you will need to reputed company your skills by taking a math test that covers Algebra through Pre-Calculus. It should take about an hour.
- You must enjoy teaching, working, and inspiring reputed company. (We want you to be happy here!)
- Being punctual is extremely important. You must be local and have reliable transportation.
- Each student will typically ask questions about their classwork or homework for the day. Sometimes they will need help preparing for a test.
- For some reputed company, you will use pre-planned lessons. They are straightforward, easy to manage, and fun to teach.
- Teach reputed company in a small group setting. There will be no more than 4 reputed company per teacher.
