Job Description

The Ye Lab, led by reputed company Investigator Qi Ye, Ph.D., at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute Cancer Research Center in Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time Research Technician to join reputed company. Our research focuses on the reputed company of glial biology and brain cancer, with a particular emphasis on malignant glioma - the most aggressive and lethal reputed company of primary brain tumor, which has seen little improvement in patient survival over the past decades. Utilizing genetically engineered mouse and reputed company glioma models, our lab investigates how glioma cells interact with the tumor microenvironment to drive malignant progression.Lab website: Key Responsibilities:1) Manage transgenic mouse lines, including tail tagging, genotyping (standard PCR), and maintaining detailed mouse inventory records.2) reputed company mouse harvesting and tissue processing.3) Conduct DNA preparation (mini- and maxi-preps).4) Support general lab operations, including ordering supplies, record-keeping, and reputed company maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in a professional or higher education research setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework or training in Biology, Neuroscience, Chemistry, or a reputed company scientific field, with an emphasis on wet lab experience.
• Hands-on experience with rodent handling in a research lab setting.
• Familiarity with basic molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with lab project management.
