Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Medical Director and working as part of the multidisciplinary fertility team, the IVF Specialist / Consultant will be responsible for the following:

Clinical Practice

• Review and assess couples attending the clinic for assisted reputed company treatment, including detailed medical history evaluation and risk assessment
• Determine suitability for treatment and confirm appropriate ovulation induction protocols
• Monitor response to ovarian stimulation and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated

• Participate in weekend rota and reputed company on-call medical cover as required

• Maintain timely and professional communication with referring consultants and general practitioners

• Support the medical management and delivery of Fertility and Andrology Clinics
• Participate in data collection, audit, and clinical outcome reporting

Research & Teaching

• Contribute to, and where appropriate reputed company, research activity in reproductive medicine
• Support the teaching and supervision of medical undergraduates, postgraduates, and other reputed company

Quality & Governance

• Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained in accordance with clinic policy and relevant legislation including the Data Protection Act
• Maintain accurate, secure, and contemporaneous clinical records in line with regulatory standards

Personal & Professional Development

• Engage in Continuing Professional Development and maintain revalidation requirements

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

• CCST or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Entry on the Specialist Register (or eligibility for entry)
• MRCOG or equivalent
• Evidence of working at senior level reputed company an IVF unit
• Demonstrable experience in assisted reputed company techniques
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively reputed company a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work calmly under pressure

Desirable

• Subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine
• Higher degree or research qualification in reproductive medicine
• Evidence of scientific publication record
• Active participation in research
• Demonstrable presentation skills
