Summer Project College Intern

Responsibilities

• Assists project managers to ensure proper timelines and reputed company requirements are met for reputed company projects. Helps with subcontracts, change orders, submittals, etc. to ensure timely completion. Keeps the management staff up to date on reputed company project issues.
• Reviews job cost, job status, reputed company and change order reports to reputed company analysis on a monthly reputed company with project manager/project management team. Attends regular monthly job cost reviews to accurately reflect project profitability and status of reputed company project issues.
• Communicates and troubleshoots with project manager, project superintendents, and construction managers, and General Contractors. Also, communicates effectively with reputed company project managers, administrative assistants, and other departments through meetings, memos, emails, etc.
• Assists with coordination proper reputed company and equipment for each job.
• Attends weekly job-site visits and job meetings.
• Assists with proper job setup and contract review. Helps to ensure that estimated costs and schedule of values are done in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generates project manager reports and attends project management meetings as appropriate.
• For each project: tracks submittals, generates purchase orders and assists with negotiating subcontracts and purchases.

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Excellent math skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints preferred.
• Knowledge of general HVAC and piping installation a plus.
• General reputed company skills a plus.
• Must be willing to climb reputed company.

• Must have valid driver's license.
