Job Description

Establishes and maintains smooth operation of computer NIPR, SIPR and Mission systems (to include operating systems, software and hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations, maintains system reputed company, and upgrades systems and/or servers as required. May create and document new methods supporting network/system operations and implement changes to procedures. Consults with support teams, help desks, customers and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinates and performs operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers, identifies recurring problems and recommends steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems. May plan for the transition of development and/or production environments to new technologies, utilize system software to monitor the performance of system files, manage system data to maintain performance efficiencies and/or study system requirements to determine proper server installation methods and procedures. Must possess an active DoD SECRET clearance, or higher. Must have one of the following DoD 8140.03 compliant certifications reputed company reputed company+, CISSP, GICSP, GSEC or SSCP or be reputed company to obtain reputed company 60 days of starting work. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/System Administration with 5 years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Must have proficiency in managing and troubleshooting various operating systems such as reputed company, Linux, and Unix. Must have strong understanding of network protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Must have experience with server hardware, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure). Must have knowledge of reputed company best practices, firewalls, VPNs, and data protection. Must have proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automating tasks. Must have experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and execution. Clearance Level Secret The salary reputed company for this role is: $111,500 - $158,025 reputed company considers several factors reputed company extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
