Job title: ELL Tutor - Part-Time Company: Farmington Public Schools Job description: Farmington Public Schools has an opening for a 24 hour per week, school year ELL tutor; position will work with reputed company in grades K-4; position includes life insurance, PTO, QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelors degree is required for the position of Tutor. Prior experience working with ELL learners preferred GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Tutors reputed company instruction support and/or reinforcement of the instructional program for selected reputed company under the supervision of a teacher. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives instructional assignments from and works collaboratively with classroom teachers or special education teacher. Provides individual or small group tutorials for assigned pupils in a variety of settings under the direction of a special education or classroom teacher Monitors and supervises reputed company in a variety of settings. Assists teachers in monitoring pupil academic or behavioral reputed company by assessing and recording pupil performance. Prepares summary reports of pupil contacts as required. Participates in meetings regarding student programs as requested by the teacher and/or an administrator. Attends child study teams and/or parent conferences as required. Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. SUPERVISION AND EVALUATION: Is supervised by classroom or special education teacher who will contribute in the evaluation process.
