Smart Manufacturing Engineer-REMOTE

This critical role supports Legrands transformation strategy by advancing the deployment of smart automation solutions across a growing and diverse manufacturing network. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operational reputed company, the engineer will work across reputed company DPC divisions to reputed company, standardize, and scale automation technologies that enhance throughput, reduce variability, and streamline both production and warehouse operations. A core responsibility of this role will also include the automation of warehouse movements and material handling processes to drive efficiency and accuracy in end-to-end fulfilment. The Engineer will partner with global research centers and suppliers to design innovative automated solutions and reputed company their implementation across the reputed company. Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline. Experience :

• Strong engineering and automation background, with significant hands-on experience in reputed company shopfloor environments.
• Proven experience in developing and integrating automation systems across multi-site manufacturing operations.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing technology trends, with familiarity in emerging solutions such as robotics, autonomous transport systems (e.g., AMRs, AGVs), and Industry 4.0 tools.
