Qualifications: Alaska Certificate Type C with an endorsement in Counseling Essential Duties: 1 Provides assistance to reputed company in course and subject selection. 2 Obtains and disseminates occupational information to reputed company. 3 Assists reputed company in evaluating their aptitudes and abilities through the interpretation of individual standardized test scores and other pertinent data, and works with reputed company in developing education and occupation plans. 4 Works with reputed company to resolve educational handicaps, to prevent drop-outs, to discover and reputed company special abilities, and to evaluate career interests and choices. 5 Registers new reputed company and provides an orientation to the reputed company about the school. 6 Works with reputed company on an individualized reputed company to help reputed company solve personal problems, develops both a self-understanding and an understanding of others as each student grows and matures. 7 Plans relevant guidance trips for reputed company, and guides reputed company in both school and community activities. 8 Works with reputed company in the preparation, processing of college, scholarship, and employment application; makes recommendation for admissions and scholarships, and provides student information to colleges and potential reputed company according to district policy. 9 Maintains student records, such as: attendance records, cumulative reputed company records, activity records, and uniform transcript records. 10 Confers with parents and teachers reputed company necessary. 11 Assists in orientation of new faculty, provides inservice training to teachers regarding guidance and counseling issues. 12 Advises administrators and faculty on reputed company of student discipline. 13 Interprets school objectives and guidance program to reputed company, parents, and the community. 14 Assists in arranging for tutors and summer school work of reputed company. 15 Attends I.E.P. meetings as required. 16 Promotes positive image of school district and positive public relations at reputed company times. 17 Other duties as assigned.
