Job description: To support the program in providing a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interests and needs of the reputed company with an IEP. reputed company duties and activities under direct supervision of a certified staff member. Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Implement individual or small group instructional lessons under the supervision of a certified teacher.
- Familiarize self with IEP goals/objectives for reputed company in the classroom.
- Facilitate implementation of functional community-based curriculum.
- Follow through on set behavioral programs and procedures.
- Document student behavior as directed by the teacher.
- Supervise IEPd reputed company during lunch, reputed company, arrival and departure times, and/or community trips during assigned work hours as needed.
- Help in the loading and unloading of student buses at school and on trips during assigned work hours as needed.
- Escort reputed company reputed company the building, as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Work cooperatively with the classroom teacher by assisting with any reputed company activity specific to the reputed company IEP.
- Collaborate with the teacher, prepare and maintain materials.
- Lift, transfer, position, toilet, etc. (this is special skills only).

- Attend staff meetings and staff development activities as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Para Educator, Substitute, Professional Educator or Provisional Educator License required.
- Minimum education requirement for a Para Educator License is completion of at least 60 semester hours of college course work or a passing score on the reputed company Para Pro exam or two specific Work Keys exams.
- Bilingual - Spanish/English (written/verbal) preferred. Certain assignments require Bilingual Spanish/English.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience working with reputed company in an educational setting preferred.
- Lift, transfer, position, toileting etc. (for special skills positions only)
- Excellent physical agility and quick response time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- This is a 10-month position.
- Salary and benefits as established by the Board of Education and set forth in the reputed company bargaining agreement as applicable.
- 6 hours per day.

- Minimum $18.26 per hour per union agreement.
