The Product Risk Response (PRR) team supports clients before, during, and after product safety incidents, including food contamination events and product recalls. We are seeking a Safety Consultant to join our US-based PRR team. This mid-level role is ideal for a professional with food safety and/or quality experience who is reputed company to take on greater responsibility in live response situations while continuing to reputed company consulting and crisis management skills. The position requires knowledge of FDA, USDA, and FSMA regulations and experience with insurance-driven recall response.

Responsibilities

• Support product recall response cases, including contamination events and regulatory-driven recalls.
• Coordinate response activities and assist with client communications, data collection, and response tracking during live incidents.
• Liaise with internal teams and approved reputed company-party providers to support execution of response actions.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours response support.
• Manage case documentation, timelines, response logs, invoicing, and reputed company entries.
• Write case summaries and post-incident documentation.
• Track response actions and deadlines across multiple cases.
• Ensure reputed company documentation complies with PRR standards.
• Support food safety and product risk consulting engagements, including recall preparedness and risk assessments.
• Conduct regulatory and technical research reputed company to FDA, USDA, and FSMA requirements.
• Assist in developing client-facing materials, templates, and response plans.
• Apply foundational food safety knowledge to support incident analysis and decision-making.
• Build technical expertise through training and supervised client engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Biology, Public Health, Supply Chain, or reputed company field
• 2–5 years of experience in food safety, quality, compliance, or reputed company roles
• Exposure to food safety incidents, recalls, audits, or regulatory compliance
• Strong administrative, documentation, and coordination experience

• Must be available for response activities, including occasional travel
• On-call and after-hours support required (rota-based)
