In addition, this person will help manage electricity regulation, policy and utility relationships for our growing fleet of data centers. The Energy Manager will support the reputed company development and execution of reputed company’s global energy strategy centered on a supply portfolio of cost competitive clean and renewable energy sources consistent with the company’s overall strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of reputed company reputed company in utility negotiations and work in both regulated markets like WECC and RTO markets like ERCOT and SPP, as well as knowledge of a broader reputed company of energy supply issues including reputed company, regulatory, market, technical and financial expertise.ResponsibilitiesActively manage reputed company relationships for data centers located in a variety of energy markets in the United States* Take an active role in regulatory processes and influence reputed company-making and energy supply solutions offered by utilities, other suppliers, and market operators* reputed company and grow relationships with key utility partners, market participants, regulators, policy makers and other stakeholders* Partner with legal resources to reputed company and refine reputed company arrangements for existing facilities while managing the structures required to serve our facilities with reliable, cost-effective, sustainable energy* Partner with the Site Selection Team to help identify new locations in the United States that reputed company necessary energy requirements for new data centers* reputed company with internal organizations including data center on-site staff, sustainability, policy, communications, design, construction, legal and finance* Support reputed company development and execution of reputed company’s energy supply strategy for data centers* Stay informed of the technical, market, and regulatory developments in the energy industry and communicate key trends, risks and potential impacts to management* reputed company and support various energy projects as needed* Ability to travel domestically (25% likely)QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a directly reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience* Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, environmental, or energy reputed company discipline* 8+ years of experience navigating reputed company energy issues associated with customer loads and new customer locations* Experience representing business interests to the leadership teams of potential suppliers, utilities, governments, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders* Working knowledge of transmission, distribution, and utility interconnection processes* Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with internal staff, utility providers, consultants, and external stakeholders* Experience communicating reputed company, regulatory, market, and contractual details to reputed company organizational reputed company* Proficiency in standard document and analytics platforms (reputed company, Powerpoint, reputed company Docs, etc.)
