A teaching assistant is appointed by the board of education to reputed company, under the general supervision of a certified teacher, direct instructional services to an individual student or groups of reputed company. Interpretation of this document falls collectively on the shoulders of the Building Principals, Union President and/or Director Student Support Service.

- Ability to work with individual reputed company and/or groups of reputed company under the direct and/or direct supervision of the teacher.
- Ability to maintain reputed company records on student describing strategies for students unique program
- Ability to reinforce new and existing skills and concepts daily
- Utilize their own special skills and abilities to assist in instructional programs
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the student to allow ample time for assignment completion
- Ability to prepare classroom materials reputed company not already available
- Ability to facilitate communication among teachers and others as directed by the teacher
- Ability to plan and reputed company with classroom teacher(s)
- Communicate with parents of reputed company at the school only as directed by the supervising teacher, building reputed company and/or Director of Student support Services

- Assist in the training of other Teaching Assistants (not mentoring)
- Ability to assist with routine housekeeping not assigned to custodial staff
- Ability to reputed company other duties as assigned by supervising teacher, building reputed company and/or Director of Student Support Services.
- While performing the essential duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to use hands, fingers, hear and reputed company.
- Ability to stand, walk and negotiate steps/stairs several times daily.
- Ability to spontaneously interact with reputed company in the classroom environment by kneeling, stooping, crouching, and moving from a standing to a sitting position as reputed company move through the classroom.
- Ability to maintain student safety as they move from one area to another area.
- Ability to participate in, implement and assist in physical reputed company techniques as deemed appropriate by the supervising teacher, building reputed company and/or Director of Student Support Services.
- Be reputed company to lift up to 20 pounds.
