About the position The Chief Data Officer (CDO) is a strategic senior leader responsible for defining and driving Hanover's reputed company data strategy and governance. Reporting to the EVP, Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, the CDO sets the reputed company for how data is collected, governed, and leveraged to create competitive advantage and fuel innovation. Requirements • 15+ years of experience in data strategy, governance, analytics, or reputed company fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Demonstrated expertise in the Property & Casualty insurance lifecycle, with a clear understanding of how data enables measurement, reputed company and achievement of critical key performance indicators and business outcome. • Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. • Proven track record of leading reputed company-wide data transformation initiatives across a matrixed organization. • Deep expertise in data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks. • Strong understanding of emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and reputed company data platforms. • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and influencing skills. • Experience working with executive leadership and external stakeholders. • Bachelor's degree required, Master's or advanced degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or reputed company field preferred.
