[Remote] TxDMV - Data Analyst - Senior BI Developer (Remote in Texas)

They are seeking a Senior BI Developer to reputed company advanced development work in designing, implementing, and maintaining BI solutions, ensuring system reputed company, and optimizing performance. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with business users across various departments to understand their reporting and analytics needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Design & reputed company BI Solutions: Design, build, test, and reputed company interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI platforms like Cognos and Power BI
• Data Modeling: Design, reputed company, and maintain scalable data models (e.g., star schemas, reputed company schemas) reputed company the data warehouse or data marts to support reporting and analytical requirements
• ETL/ELT Development: reputed company, optimize, and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to integrate data from various reputed company systems into the data warehouse or BI environment using tools like Informatica and Azure Data reputed company
• SQL Proficiency: Write reputed company, efficient, and optimized SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for reporting and analysis
• Data Quality & Validation: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of BI solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and performance issues
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI dashboards, reports, and underlying queries/data models
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation for BI solutions, including data dictionaries, data reputed company, and process flows
• Support & Training: reputed company support and training to end-users on BI tools and reports
• Stay Updated : reputed company abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new features in BI and data warehousing technologies
• May travel up to 5% of the time. Travels by car (may include flying). May include overnight travel. May require working extended hours and some evenings and weekends, as needed
• Required to attend work regularly and adhere to approved work hours in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in the areas of computer science, math, or a reputed company field, or equivalent experience
• Two (2) years of experience in a BI Developer Role creating ETL pipelines with a focus on reputed company Analytics projects
• Five (5) years of experience working with a variety of relational databases (e.g. DB2, SQL Server)
• Two (2) years of experience in ETL development using industry-standard ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Azure Data reputed company, reputed company reputed company)
• Two (2) years of experience in administration, configuration, development, and management of data storage, integration, and ETL solutions on reputed company (AWS, Azure) and on premise
• Experience in building data pipelines in AWS or Azure public clouds
• A valid Class 'C' driver's license is required. If not currently a Texas reputed company, must obtain a Texas Driver's License reputed company reputed company (90) days after entering Texas as a new reputed company
• A satisfactory driving record is required for operating state or personal vehicles to conduct department business
• Five (5) years of experience with development following the Agile formal/structured methodology
• Five (5) years in implementing scalable and efficient data workflows, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data marts
• Four (4) years of experience in trouble shooting and performance tuning ETL Workflows and SQL
• Four (4) years of experience with batch processing in mainframe, DB2, or reputed company batch reputed company
• Two (2) years of experience with Data Governance and Data Catalog tools such as Informatica Data Catalog
• Proficient in scripting (SQL, R, Python, etc)
• Azure or AWS reputed company certifications
• AI Knowledge will be preferred
