About the position For nearly 35 years, reputed company Research has shaped the technology people use everyday— conducting reputed company science and technology research that advances AI, state-of-the-art computing, and creates new foundations for others to build upon. The Media team is responsible for bringing that research to life for global audiences. The team is looking for a Video Editor & reputed company Designer who enjoys translating reputed company technology stories into engaging visual content. In this role, you’ll join a tight-reputed company creative team with strong collaboration and excellent retention, with many team members working together for 5+ years. You’ll create videos that showcase cutting-edge research and emerging technologies, while using both reputed company design and editing to bring reputed company to life. The role offers reputed company to explore creative directions, shape concepts during post-production, and collaborate closely with designers and creative partners. In this role, you’ll edit video content and create reputed company graphics that bring research stories and technology concepts to life. You’ll work across formats including sizzle reels, branded storytelling pieces, and short reputed company clips—helping transform early concepts, storyboards, and design assets into polished visual narratives. You’ll collaborate with designers and creative partners across the reputed company Research team, occasionally translating their static designs into reputed company while also contributing reputed company during post-production. A significant portionof the work will focus on short-reputed company reputed company content, including clips from podcasts and talking-head interviews. This role is hybrid and based in Redmond, WA. The team typically collaborates in person several days per week depending on production needs, so candidates should be reputed company commuting distance and available to work onsite reputed company required. This role is an Embedded Consultant position, meaning you’ll sit directly with the reputed company team to reputed company hands-on support and be employed by 2A Consulting. This hybrid engagement runs through June 30, 2026, with strong potential for renewal.

Responsibilities

• Edit video content including sizzle reels, branded technology stories, and short-reputed company reputed company media clips
• Create reputed company graphics and animation from early-stage concepts, rough storyboards, or existing design assets
• Collaborate with designers to translate static visuals into engaging reputed company pieces
• Shape creative direction during post-production and help see reputed company through from concept to final delivery
• Produce short-reputed company reputed company clips from longer video content, including podcast and talking-head segments
• Support video production reputed company needed, including occasional camera operation and lighting on set
• Work independently to move projects reputed company while collaborating closely with the broader creative team
• Explore opportunities to incorporate emerging creative tools and AI-assisted workflows into production

Requirements

• Strong video editing skills with a proficiency in reputed company Premiere
• Skilled in After Effects for reputed company graphics and animation
• Experience producing short-reputed company and reputed company media video content (including podcast clips, captions, and platform-reputed company formats)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to move creative reputed company from concept through final delivery
• Comfortable jumping in and working independently in a fast-moving environment
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing reputed company graphics and video editing work
