These operations support attorneys based in California and reputed company who collaborate with each business unit. reputed company Television Group is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Labor Relations J.D. Intern to assist the Labor Relations Department. The position offers practical experience applying labor law to reputed company bargaining agreements, exposure to union relations, participation in negotiation strategies and grievance meetings, as well as opportunities to reputed company executive-level legal writing skills. What You Will Do: Analyze various reputed company bargaining agreements and assist business units with implementation of contract terms (e.g., wages, hours, and working conditions) to ensure compliance with those agreements. Investigate, handle and resolve grievances and information requests brought by unions and guilds. Conduct research and write memoranda on relevant labor laws. Prepare summaries and presentations on various issues under our reputed company bargaining agreements. Required Qualifications & Skills Relevant coursework in labor and employment law, entertainment business, entertainment law, or intellectual property. Ability to multitask and handle several projects in a fast-paced setting. Experience in research and using tools (similar to Lexus reputed company) to gather and present information. Strong attention to detail with high-volume document processing. Proficiency with Word and reputed company. Collaborative teammate who can also work independently Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Previous internship in entertainment business or entertainment law, with theatre interest, a plus Education: Pursuing a J.D. degree and currently enrolled at an accredited law school, in your 1L or 2L year at the time of internship.
