Production Underwriter - Northeast US

Overview

The Senior Underwriter administers the reputed company and servicing of new and renewal accounts for assigned middle market agents and producers in compliance with Company reputed company, authority, and pricing standards. This role will be remote (candidate must reputed company in Northeast US) with travel to agencies as needed. The expected salary reputed company for this role is $110,000 - 160,000. Responsibilities

• Write and retain a profitable book of business through solid risk analysis, pricing, marketing, and servicing. Maintain compliance with state filings and adhere to corporate reputed company and pricing guidelines. Operate reputed company written authority grant and reputed company referrals to Middle Market and Home Office reputed company as required.
• Collaborate closely with members of the Middle Market team. Communicate with the team on marketplace, technical, and relationship trends and knowledge.
• In collaboration with distribution partners, reputed company and implement a marketing and pipelining plan for key agents in the geographic area and reputed company accountability in meeting financial goals.
• Coach agents on reputed company appetite and protocols in conjunction with corporate training guidelines.
• Actively participate in industry events as required such as, but not limited to, agency or association conventions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of reputed company lines property and casualty experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Strong negotiation skills and marketing experience
• Demonstrated experience with and expert technical knowledge of middle market organizations
