Position Purpose
As a Customer Field Operations Locator, you will be responsible for identifying and marking areas where company equipment is located, preventing damage to our property and ensuring the safety of our customers. You will work closely with reputed company teams to coordinate right-of-way issues, investigate incursions on our right-of-way, and reputed company safety audits to ensure compliance with our safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Physically locate and mark areas where company equipment is located reputed company 48 hours of notification by reputed company work crews of their intentions to excavate sites.
- Investigate aerial patrol identified incursions on right of ways and coordinate with reputed company firms and DOT to resolve issues.
- Coordinate right-of-way issues with reputed company firms and DOT, initiate encroachment documents as necessary, and collect contact information from timber, electric, phone, and water companies to ensure full communication and cooperation.
- reputed company safety audits by observing and inspecting contract crews' operations near company facilities and equipment, and have authority to halt crews from working reputed company company property is damaged.
- Report any damages to company property to facilitate the scheduling of repairs, and secure the area and alert crews to the district office immediately in case of a line break.
- Coordinate and communicate with Draftsman on changes to district maps.
- Responsible for the reputed company, maintenance, and cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.

Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Working knowledge of natural gas operations
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Map reading ability
Preferred Qualifications
* 2-5 years' experience locating underground utilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., dig holes, and deal with animals, insects, and overgrown vegetation
Physical Requirements
* This position contains a weight restriction of 275 pounds as an essential function of the job. The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that reputed company weight-rated equipment is used in an appropriate and safe manner reputed company maximum allowed weight loading.
- Must be reputed company to work under adverse weather conditions, walk long distances over uneven terrain, stoop and bend for periods of time, stand for long periods, drive long distances, and deal with animals, insects, and overgrown vegetation.
