Registered Nurse, PAT (Remote)

About the position Frisco Surgery is looking for a full time Registered Nurse, PAT to join reputed company remotely! Must reputed company in Texas. SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse, Pre‑Admission Testing (PAT) is responsible for coordinating and completing pre ‑ operative assessments for patients scheduled to undergo invasive or surgical procedures. This position conducts comprehensive assessments reputed company telephone and/or telehealth, reviews medical histories, identifies potential surgical or anesthesia risks, an d collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other care team members to ensure patient readiness prior to surgery. The PAT RN supports patient safety, satisfaction, and surgical preparedness through proactive communication, patient education, an d thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments reputed company phone or telehealth, including review of medical history, medications, allergies, and prior surgical experiences
• Identify actual or potential anesthesia and surgical risks and escalate concerns appropriately
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, primary care providers, and specialty offices to obtain required clearances, lab results, diagnostic testing, and documentation
• Review and ensure completion of reputed company pre‑operative requirements prior to scheduled procedures
• reputed company patients and caregivers on pre‑surgical instructions, including fasting guidelines, medication management, arrival logistics, and post‑operative expectations

• Strong clinical judgment, critical ‑ thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to assess patient risk and clinical readiness in a remote, telephonic environment

• High attention to detail, organization, and time ‑ management skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary reputed company team

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• One (1) year of perioperative nursing experience
• Must reputed company in Texas
• Basic Life Support certified
• Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certified or must be obtained reputed company 60 days of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified or must be obtained reputed company 60 days of hire
• This is a 100% remote role; candidates must have a dedicated workspace free of interruptions

• Must have reliable and secure internet reputed company (300 Mbps minimum)
