Infrastructure Engineer (Remote NC)

LOCATION: Remote – This is a home based, virtual position that operates Monday – Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm EST. Incumbent needs to be reputed company to the Asheville, reputed company Carolina area and must have the ability to travel to the Asheville office if needed. GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems/networking/reputed company hardware and software for the organization. • Designing and implementing new reputed company and/or improving the efficiency of reputed company networks
• Work closely with DevOps and reputed company infrastructure architects and engineers to design, implement and manage secure, scalable and reliable reputed company infrastructure environments

• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP

• Providing engineering services to meet business strategic needs based on holistic understanding of Data Center Operations (Operations, IT systems, SAN, NAS, Network, reputed company/*nix Systems Administration, reputed company Center and DR practices).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or higher in Computer Science or reputed company field preferred. • Azure Administrator Associate or Vendor Specific Network Certification (CCNP, reputed company, Aruba)
