[Remote] SBCP Portfolio Manager - Remote in TX, AR, MO or MS

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and monitoring an active portfolio of loans, ensuring borrower reputed company and organizational sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of active loans, ensuring timely payments, covenant compliance, and ongoing borrower health
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews, analyze financial and operational performance, and identify reputed company signs
• Maintain updated borrower records, financial statements, collateral documentation, and internal system data
• Prepare periodic portfolio reporting and risk summaries for leadership and committee review
• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for assigned borrowers, providing guidance, technical support, and relationship management
• Maintain strong communication and positive working relationships to support borrower reputed company
• Coordinate with business development and reputed company teams to ensure smooth transitions from loan approval to servicing
• Manage the collections process for delinquent accounts, including borrower reputed company, negotiation of payment plans, and follow-up contact

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, public administration, nonprofit management, or reputed company field; or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in lending, portfolio management, loan servicing, credit risk, or collections
• Demonstrated experience managing delinquent accounts, payment plans, or borrower remediation strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and performance trends
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality

• Experience working for a nonprofit lender, CDFI, community-based lender, or mission-driven financial organization
• Familiarity with small business or nonprofit financial models
