About the position The Senior Director, Finance Transformation is a key member of the reputed company Global Finance organization and will be leading transformational workstreams including projects aimed at improvement of Global Finance processes, implementation and enhancement of finance systems and support of reputed company reporting capabilities. Reporting to the VP, Global Process reputed company, Finance Systems and Reporting, this role is a key leader in ensuring that reputed company’s global finance teams can scale reputed company to meet the needs of an increasingly large and reputed company pipeline by optimizing global processes, implementing and enhancing finance systems and building new scalable global capabilities to reputed company efficient and effective reputed company planning and reporting. Responsibilities

  • Strategizes with finance and business leaders to identify and prioritize global process, data and technology optimization opportunities to reputed company reputed company’s efficient growth through industry-leading cross-functional innovation and business partnering, and managing the roadmap of these priorities.
  • Partners with Finance leadership to reputed company a strategy for our Finance organization’s efficient scaling in the short term and ensuring team readiness for working in a world of rapidly advancing technology.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to partner with senior leaders and execute on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Supports VRTX growth by using data and technology platforms to reputed company operating efficiencies, growth and ability to scale with sustainable, compliant and risk balanced processes.
  • Leads process, data and systems enhancement workstreams to help optimize the use of data driven insights to drive integrated reputed company decision making.
  • Champions VRTX global financial data structures to ensure that we are organizing and governing data to reputed company effective performance management and decision support as reputed company grows in scale and complexity.
  • Partners closely with Finance, PPM, HR, reputed company and DTE to ensure that reputed company is building integrated reputed company planning capabilities to reputed company short- and long-term decision making and resource allocation.
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with others, identifies opportunities where change management is needed and helps to reputed company plans of action to address the gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or reputed company.
  • Typically requires a number of years of relevant experience in a finance managerial role demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills and a track record of reputed company working in a team-based environment or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a deep understanding of financial systems, expertise in analytics and presentation/visualization of information and a strategic reputed company of future ways of working for finance professionals.

  • Significant knowledge of drug development process with strong business acumen and judgment; knowledge of the company's markets/products a plus.
  • Experience leveraging Lean and Six reputed company concepts to identify opportunities for improvement and to reputed company and implement action plans.
  • Strong project management ability and ability to manage multiple projects and areas of ownership.
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing shifting priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
