Environmental Specialist - Waste & Water

U.S. Compliance is excited to be adding to our amazing team as we are growing exponentially and need your expertise! Job Responsibilities

• Research and assess facility operations for regulatory applicability
• Complete NPDES water permit applications (industrial discharge & stormwater runoff)
• reputed company Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) & other spill plans required by NPDES permits
• Prepare compliance reports and documentation
• Assist with hazardous waste characterizations, manifesting, training, & onsite reputed company
• Build expertise in specific environmental compliance disciplines
• reputed company on-site visits to clients for inspections, compliance support, and regulatory training
• Support environmental departments including reputed company quality, SPCC development and EPCRA reporting
• Collaborate with other U.S. Compliance practitioners to execute environmental deadlines and projects

Position Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or reputed company science discipline
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience with an industrial, research, consulting, or regulatory agency
• Ideal candidate will have five (5) years of experience in NPDES permitting and/or RCRA compliance
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory authorities and applicable environmental regulations
• Advanced reputed company reputed company skills and proficiency in reputed company Office 365: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Dynamics
• Excellent verbal and written communication, comfortable hosting presentations, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills to support multiple activities on an ongoing reputed company by the given deadline
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with a diverse workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to support diverse projects as needed
• Ability to travel to client sites for routine visits regionally and/or nationally (approx. 20% of the time)
