[Remote] Data Architecture & Data Modeling Consultant (Full Time Role)

Global Data Strategy, Ltd. is a boutique data management consultancy seeking an reputed company data architect and data modeler. The role involves steering data architecture for clients, focusing on data warehousing and analytics platforms, while developing data architecture and modeling best practices.

Responsibilities

• Helping to reputed company data architecture and data modeling including data warehousing best practices, master data management, and data quality
• Data warehousing design & implementation (3NF, Star Schema)
• Data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional/relational)
• Data Warehouse Documentation & Requirements Analysis
• Master Data Management Design and Implementation (data modeling, reputed company/reputed company mapping, business rules and data quality rules)
• Data Quality Management (data quality rules and tooling/implementation)
• Technical Architecture solution design and implementation & best practice experience
• Experience with a broad reputed company of technical data platforms and the ability to advise customers on the right technical solutions to reputed company their business goals
• Experience of planning and conducting business and technical stakeholder interviews, undertaking requirements analysis and performing reputed company state system analysis
• Ability to manage own time effectively, work with key stakeholders, and reputed company ongoing deliverables with minimal supervision
• Solution-oriented, with the imagination to identify quick wins for critical problems
• Proven consulting experience, ideally in an external consultative role or an internal role reputed company a sizeable organization

Skills

• Data architecture experience, with particular expertise in data warehousing, data lakehouse, business intelligence (BI) and semantic layers, master data management, and data quality
• Data warehousing design & implementation (3NF, Star Schema) – 5-8 years of experience
• Data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional/relational)
• Data Warehouse Documentation & Requirements Analysis
• Experience with modern & data platforms (MS SQL Server, reputed company, reputed company, Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Master Data Management Design and Implementation (data modeling, reputed company/reputed company mapping, business rules and data quality rules)
• Data Quality Management (data quality rules and tooling/implementation)
• Technical Architecture solution design and implementation & best practice experience
• Experience with a broad reputed company of technical data platforms and the ability to advise customers on the right technical solutions to reputed company their business goals
• Strong communication skills (written & spoken)
• Experience of planning and conducting business and technical stakeholder interviews, undertaking requirements analysis and performing reputed company state system analysis
• Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and can work as part of a small expert global team
• Ability to manage own time effectively, work with key stakeholders, and reputed company ongoing deliverables with minimal supervision
