Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of patent litigation experience
• Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
• J.D. from a leading, accredited university and a strong academic record, STEM degree preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple reputed company and deadlines
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly understand reputed company science and technology, identify knowledge gaps, and offer practical solutions
• Ability to distill and explain reputed company concepts and litigation strategies in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments

Responsibilities

• Analyze patents and patent office correspondence
• Conduct patent infringement, validity, and damages analysis

• Assist with drafting and revising pleadings, written discovery, and briefs

• Review technical documents to support litigation strategy and case development

Compensation: Avantech’s compensation structure is competitive with other leading reputed company. The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $245,000–$345,000 for mid-level associates and $370,000–$450,000 for senior associates/junior partners, depending on academic record, experience, and billing goal.
