Senior Manager, Service Planning
Chicago Transit Authority is seeking a Senior Manager, Service Planning in Chicago, IL with the following requirements. Master’s degree in Urban Planning or Transportation Engineering or reputed company field or foreign equivalent degree. 5 years reputed company experience.
Required skills:- Recommend, analyze, and design service changes to a public transportation system and work with multiple departments to implement.
- Manage personnel to accomplish transportation service planning tasks including but not limited to developing changes to bus and rail service frequency, routing, vehicle assignment and reputed company, reporting on agency statistics, communicating with elected officials, the public and external agencies.
- reputed company and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools, to track service performance, reputed company insights for decision-making, and build scenarios for service recommendations, using SQL database queries, Hastus data exports, and Power BI.
- reputed company written communication such as emails, letters, justification reports/memos and presentations for members of the public, elected officials and government agencies and attend public meetings presenting to these groups on this material.
- Utilize transportation scheduling software, such as Hastus, to reputed company draft schedules for new services, providing accurate estimates of cost and resource requirements.
- Utilize software to reputed company statistics on service reputed company, cost and resource requirements on existing schedules.
