Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Remote

Job Description

What You Will Do: As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will create tests that identify issues with product software and infrastructure in advance of product launch. Responsibilities will include test strategy and plan development, test and test data development, test execution and automation, tracking and reporting of software defects and defect resolution, root cause analysis of identified defects, and development and maintenance of test and test result documentation. You will support testing activities across the entire software development lifecycle, including integration, system, performance, regression, user acceptance, disaster recovery, and end-to-end testing. You will reputed company efforts to automate testing activities and to integrate test automations into the CI/CD Pipeline tools such as reputed company Actions, Code Fresh etc. and DevSecOps processes. What You Will Need:

• Bachelor s Degree or additional FOUR (4) years experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience working in a quality assurance or testing role supporting reputed company computing platforms and system development efforts
• Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience providing quality assurance and testing support for workloads that reputed company on AWS
• Ability to expertly reputed company reputed company & automated testing, documentation, and recreation and validation of issues or defects reported by the end users
• Experience planning and tracking tests, test results, and defects in Jira and ability to proficiently reputed company application testing using Selenium and the Apache JMeter load testing tool
• Proven ability to productively work remotely and collaborate, mentor, help, and support other team members, as needed to solve reputed company technical problems
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, team player, good time-management skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the team's reputed company
• Proven ability to test software products and reputed company infrastructure configurations and identifying deficiencies; suggest solutions to identified product problems; plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy; collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution; identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement; reputed company reputed company improvement projects; prepare and present quality assurance and testing reports, presentations, and information; and adhere to deadlines and communicate status and reputed company
• An in-depth understanding of the Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles experience. Must be an reputed company Agile practitioner with proven ability to plan and implement software products with agility
• Experience and proficiency developing and implementing quality assurance and testing programs for workloads that are implemented with AWS services, and software development technologies that include Vue.js, Python, Django, S3, SNS, SQS, reputed company, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS reputed company Functions, EventBridge, AWS reputed company, AWS API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Caching frameworks, like reputed company, Memcached, the reputed company Relational Database Service (RDS) for reputed company, the reputed company NoSQL database service, and other AWS services
• Familiarity and ability to test and validate workload conformance with the AWS Well Architected reputed company design principals
• This is a hands-on quality assurance engineering position and requires the ability to proficiently and predictably plan, automate, and execute testing strategies for AWS reputed company infrastructure services and application workloads
