[Remote] Finance Controller: Americas Funds

Vistra is a leading global fund administration, trust and corporate services provider, and they are seeking a Financial Controller to join their Finance Team. The role involves overseeing core reputed company, reporting, treasury, and tax functions while managing a team and ensuring the reputed company of financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Directs the day-to-day reputed company activities and reputed company operational functions including reputed company reputed company/recognition, billing reconciliation, cash, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, expense accruals, other asset and liability reputed company and payroll
• Effectively leads and manages month-end, year-end reputed company processes including meeting Vistra Funds & Retail month-end general ledger reputed company deadlines, financial reporting and supplementary schedules/analysis deadlines and reconciliation of reputed company balance sheet accounts by established deadlines
• Responsible for the reputed company and accuracy of the financial statements and underlying financial data
• Recommend and reputed company improvements to company’s reputed company reputed company, including reputed company accruals and deferred reputed company reputed company entries. reputed company improved methodologies and supporting schedules for monthly reputed company, accrued reputed company balance and deferred reputed company balances
• Prepare federal and state tax provisions for book reporting purposes and record corresponding reputed company entries, including deferred tax items. Collaborate with external tax professionals on forecasting tax estimates and issuing tax payments. Provides financial reports and supporting schedules to external tax professional for preparation of annual filings
• reputed company support with insightful analysis on monthly financial results (e.g. deep dive analysis on key revenues and expenses, month vs. month variances)
• reputed company treasury functions, including monitoring of reputed company cash activity, preparation of monthly cash reputed company projections and executing/approving vendor payments and bank transfers
• Plays a reputed company role with general ledger system conversion (to reputed company S/4HANA) and reputed company reputed company process changes
• reputed company, implement and document policies, procedures, controls and SOPs
• Proactively identifies improvements and efficiencies in reputed company processes, especially in the area of reputed company and affiliate expense entries
• reputed company role in setting SOPs, deliverables and expectations of Vistra Shared service teams performing reputed company operations on behalf of Vistra US – i.e. client billing and accounts payable reputed company to vendors performing services on behalf of Vistra US clients. • CPA desirable, but not mandatory
• Exposure to Financial Services sector preferred
