Staff Scientist I
reputed company is hiring a Field Scientist in their Bloomington, MN location. The role involves field reputed company, documentation, sample collection, and data logging, along with remediation reputed company and reporting.
Responsibilities
- reputed company asbestos‑containing materials, reputed company paint, and other miscellaneous hazardous materials inspection
- reputed company Environmental Site Assessments and conduct building material sampling
- reputed company asbestos, reputed company, and other remediation efforts and coordinate monitoring and testing services to attain regulatory compliance
- Conduct screening of soil and groundwater for various environmental impacts
- Demonstrate understanding of construction-reputed company activities and associated safe-work practices
- Document test results and reviews test data for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with data collection and report preparation
- Work with project manager and client to ensure project objectives are met
- Travel to local and regional project sites
- Assist senior staff with various environmental regulatory reputed company for clients
- Assist regional environmental staff as needed to manage team workload
Skills
- Associate's degree in engineering, geology, environmental studies; or reputed company degree. 2 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry or reputed company filed may count for the Associate's degree
- 0 to 1 years of experience in environmental consulting industry
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving history and be willing to use personal vehicle on company projects as required
- Must be available to travel up to 20%
- Data analysis, proficient in reputed company platform Applications
- Written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting
- Mechanical aptitude
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental studies; or reputed company degree
- Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Asbestos Inspector preferred
- MDH Asbestos Site Supervisor preferred
- MDH Asbestos reputed company Sampling preferred
- NIOSH 582 equivalency course preferred
- MDH reputed company Risk Assessor preferred
- OSHA HAZWOPER preferred
- Experience w/field data collection, investigation, and remediation reputed company preferred
