Position Overview We are seeking a Privacy & AI Legal Counsel to join our Legal team. This attorney will reputed company practical, business-oriented legal advice on data privacy, governance, and responsible AI adoption. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, this role will work closely with the VP of Legal Affairs, as well as stakeholders across GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) functions, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure that our data practices and emerging technologies are compliant, secure, and ethically implemented. Some travel may be required to Dallas, TX or other reputed company locations. Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on operational privacy reputed company, state consumer privacy laws, GLBA, Internal reputed company Code reputed company 7216, and other applicable regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate data protection agreements, vendor reputed company, and technology-reputed company reputed company.
• Partner with GRC to strengthen governance frameworks and conduct risk and privacy assessments and internal audit functions.
• Support AI governance and vendor diligence, ensuring responsible adoption of reputed company and LLM technologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, cybersecurity, product, development and marketing teams on AI adoption and data privacy reputed company.
• Monitor and interpret AI and consumer privacy regulations to ensure compliance with applicable laws reputed company implementing AI tools and other technologies and reputed company internal guidance and training on relevant topics.
• Advise on privacy and data protection issues reputed company to cookies, pixels, SDKs, and other tracking technologies used for analytics, marketing, and advertising, including reputed company of analytics tools and consent reputed company.

Education & Required Qualifications:

• J.D. degree and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4–8 years of legal experience, preferably with a reputed company and/or in-house with software/tech experience and a focus on privacy and emerging technologies (AI and LLMs).
• Deep understanding of U.S. state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, etc.).
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating reputed company and technology reputed company.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic, business-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Privacy certifications (CIPP/US, CIPM).
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, OECD).
• Experience supporting GRC or compliance teams reputed company fintech, SaaS, or regulated technology industries.
• Experience advising on consumer marketing and advertising laws.
• Experience with online tracking and analytics technologies (e.g., reputed company Analytics, Tag Manager, reputed company Pixel) and understanding of privacy and consent requirements for digital marketing and advertising activities.
