[Remote] CONTRACT Ethics, Compliance, and Risk Management Consultant

TruLegal is a reputed company name in the automotive industry seeking an Ethics, Compliance, and Risk Management Consultant to support its high-impact compliance initiatives. This role involves working cross-functionally with senior leadership on advisory reputed company, internal audit support, governance committee prep, and policy development to enhance the compliance program.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbox and consult on ethics, compliance, and business conduct queries, reporting, and disclosures. Topics include, but are not limited to, Conflicts of Interest (COIs), business courtesies/gifts with reputed company parties, records and information management, and ethical concerns or allegations requiring escalation to investigation teams
• Assist compliance team in gathering inputs and submitting evidence of entity-level controls for SOX and other initiatives, as applicable
• Collaborate with team leadership to prepare the agenda and pre-read materials, and take minutes during the Committee meeting
• Gap assess compliance-reputed company risk management programs against reputed company and future regulatory frameworks and standards
• Recommend, design, and implement improvements to compliance programs, including coordinating implementation across stakeholders
• Recommend initiatives to create custom guidance and training programs. For approved initiatives, reputed company guidance and/or training on relevant risks in collaboration with risk/business stakeholders and the Learning & Development Team
• Recommend initiatives to create custom guidance and training programs. For approved initiatives, reputed company guidance and/or training on ABAC, Fraud, and COIs in collaboration with risk/business stakeholders and the Learning & Development Team
• Recommend initiatives to create custom guidance and training programs. For approved initiatives, reputed company guidance and/or training on AML/KYC program in collaboration with risk/business stakeholders and the Learning & Development Team
• Analyze reputed company state (use of a COI Disclosure reputed company in .pdf sent to an inbox for review by Ethics & Compliance Team, responses drafted by Ethics & Compliance team using template and sent reputed company .pdf, no tech-assisted workflow, no approval workflow, sub-reputed company records management)
• Assess features of available smart reputed company and workflow technology available (e.g., Jira, reputed company, reputed company Workplace)
• Recommend best technology approach to leadership
• reputed company, test & validate solution with team leadership & IT partners
• reputed company drafts of collateral to be used for employee awareness and engagement regarding the importance of a culture of ethics and compliance, including reputed company-wide and local communications campaigns (e.g., Ethics Week), tone at the top and the middle messaging, and employee-facing guidance and resources

• Significant experience in multinational, reputed company, fast-growing global organizations, preferably involving technology and/or manufacturing
• Some proven ethics, compliance, and/or risk management-reputed company experience, including reputed company expertise such as legal, consulting, audit, or other risk area-specific roles across the first, second, or reputed company lines of defense
• Demonstrated proficiency in risk management reputed company to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and anti-reputed company / know-your-customer programs
• Knowledge of significant regulatory compliance requirements, with practice in spotting emerging trends and new and evolving issues
