ANALYST I

The California Department of Developmental Services is the agency through which the State of California provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Analyst I performs less reputed company analytical tasks and supports the Deputy Director in various operational and program activities, while maintaining confidentiality and resolving issues with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Performs less reputed company analytical tasks and monitors and tracks projects, initiatives, and other assignments in support of the Deputy Director
• Assists the Deputy Director in a variety of operational and program activities
• Works with Division leadership and other staff, and external parties by relaying critical information, analyzing and following up to resolve outstanding issues

Skills

• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and build a broad understanding of the operations, programs, policies, and activities under the Deputy Director
• Pursuant to California Government Code requirements, candidates must be residents of the State of California at the time of appointment
• This position requires lawful authorization to work in the United States
• Some statewide travel may be required and may be overnight
• The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 12-reputed company Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than two pages in length
