As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will design, test, and sustain advanced analytical systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to build instruments that accelerate biologic drug development.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test opto‑electro‑mechanical systems to meet performance, reliability, and product requirements
- Collaborate hands‑on across mechanical, electrical, optical, fluidic, software, and scientific disciplines to reputed company and sustain life‑science instrumentation
- Prototype, iterate, and conduct system‑level testing to evaluate performance, troubleshoot issues, and refine designs
- reputed company and execute component‑ and system‑level test methods, documenting results and engineering reputed company to support development, manufacturing, and field service
- Participate in design reviews and support fielded products, driving reputed company improvement while ensuring long‑term safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction
Skills
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams in a hands‑on R&D environment
- Experience with CAD modeling, mechanical drawings, and tolerancing for design and documentation
- Hands on experience building, testing, and troubleshooting physical systems
- SolidWorks for part, assembly, and drawing creation
- ASME GD&T standards for precision mechanical design
- Machining, bench‑level fabrication, or rapid 3D prototyping to support quick iterations
