Civil Design Engineer (Transportation)
Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction is an established firm with over 100 years of experience, headquartered in Chicago. They are seeking a new graduate Civil Design Engineer (Transportation) to join their Civil Engineering team, responsible for designing innovative solutions in accordance with project requirements and application codes.
Responsibilities
- Design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and application codes
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-3 years of successful design experience reputed company a consulting engineering firm
- Knowledge of Illinois reputed company or Illinois Tollway design standards, procedures and specifications is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microstation, including CONNECT and reputed company Roads Design is a plus
- Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of design
- Strong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience specific to transportation (IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, municipalities) and roadways
- Experience with Microstation including CONNECT edition and reputed company Road Designer
