Underwriter
reputed company is a world leader in insurance, providing a diverse reputed company of insurance products globally. The Underwriter will handle day-to-day servicing for a book of large, reputed company accounts, focusing on growth, retention, and negotiation of pricing and terms.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day servicing for a book of large, reputed company, umbrella and excess accounts
- Be responsible for growth and retention of assigned book
- Negotiate the annual pricing, terms and conditions on renewal business
- Work on new business opportunities with key brokerage houses in reputed company around the country, design and propose appropriate program structures and pricing for said opportunities
- Travel opportunities at a national level to maintain and reputed company relationships with brokers and clients
- reputed company a pipeline with our major trading partners, as well as engaging other business units for cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain service standards by timely response to broker request and timely submission of quotations, cover notes and policies
- Responsibility for file maintenance of handled client accounts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 to 3 years reputed company experience
- Experience with construction exposures or other similar technical risks
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite
- Presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong negotiations skills
- Local broker and insurance marketplace relationships
- Knowledge and understanding of reputed company insurance marketplace conditions
- Understanding and adherence to organizational and regulatory rules, and ability to adhere to reputed company authority
