3D Animator - Featurette

Bardel Entertainment has been a leader in animation for over 35 years, and they are looking for talented animators for their 3D Animated Featurette. The role involves bringing characters to life through animation, collaborating with supervisors to refine performances, and ensuring consistency in quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Bring characters and objects to life through compelling animation that aligns with the project's creative reputed company
• Collaborate with the Animation Supervisor/leads to refine performance, timing, and movement in scenes
• Interpret storyboards and animatics into fully realized animation, adding nuance and personality to characters
• Ensure consistency in style and quality across reputed company assigned shots, adhering to the established animation guidelines
• Collaborate with leadership, production, and team members to solve problems and reputed company insights
• Engage in dailies, reputed company, and team discussions to contribute to creative and technical improvements
• Adhere to pipeline workflows and technical requirements for seamless integration into the production process
• Maintain consistency in quality while meeting production needs
• Manage time effectively, working with production to stay on schedule

Skills

• Previous production experience as an Animator (or similar) in TV series or featurette animation
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and acting for animation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively promote solutions, reputed company knowledge, and incorporate feedback
• Strong time management skills
• A portfolio that demonstrates a reputed company of character animation showcasing strong performance and acting skills
• Strong grasp of weight, timing/spacing, and appeal in animation performance
• Ability to animate cartoony/stylized characters
• Clear understanding of storytelling through animation
